Relays

Our relays are designed to link and control independent systems for automation purposes across CCTV networks. Relays are essentially switches that function by opening and closing an electric circuit. They receive electrical signals and then send these to other devices.

This allows you to operate other electrical products alongside your core CCTV installation. You can connect a CCTV system with an alarm system, lighting, sirens, magnetic door sensors, and other devices as part of a wider security setup.

By using a relay board, you can vastly enhance the security of your premises by attaching a range of third-party devices. It is possible to link up any existing security devices you may have to establish a fully integrated security network using a range of devices from multiple providers.

One such example would be an alarm system that triggers the use of a Digital Video Recorder to store footage when the alarm is raised. Additional devices can be added to activate when an electrical signal has been detected.
