A stylish high performance NiteDevil camera in a traditional style. Features include Wide Dynamic Range and OSD Menu for mirror, privacy & motion detect functions. Offering superb results even at night, this camera can recognise a car number plate using its built-in high sensitivity backlight compensation.
This HD camera offers 1080p at 25fps beating your standard analogue camera for high quality images.
For testing purposes there is a composite connection allowing you to connect a non HD test monitor when setting up the camera. It also has a RS485 connection for using the OSD.
The CAM343L comes with a dual voltage input and is supplied with a 2.8 - 12mm mega pixel lens as standard. Other power input and lens models are available.
The popular NiteDevil electronics were originally developed for bars and nightclubs, as the light sensitivity of the NiteDevil is so good that it can retain a colour picture in very low light conditions.
Wide Dynamic Range - The Dynamic Range of a camera is the difference between the darkest and brightest point of an image. In certain situations there will be a wide contrast between the two, such as a camera in a dimly lit pub or bar pointing towards a door or window on a brightly lit day. A camera with a WDR, is able to use shadowing detail on the dark areas as well as handle the brighter objects.
