The CAM892U is an external anti-vandal camera with two additional "IR Guns" providing useful additional illumination, helping the camera see up to an impressive 80m range. Ideal for low light surveillance in businesses and homes.
By altering the direction of the IR guns, it's possible to alter the spread of the IR illumination to suit each individual install. An additional benefit of the directional IR guns is that it allows the installer to angle them away from items that may produce too much IR glare for the camera.

The cameras OSD can be controlled through RS485 from a keyboard or DVR or up the co-ax with a UTC controller.

The CAM892U features super wide dynamic range*, 3D noise reduction, demist and sens-up.

*The Wide Dynamic Range of a camera is the difference between the darkest and brightest point of an image. In certain situations there will be a wide contrast between the two, such as a camera in a dimly lit pub or bar pointing towards a door or window on a brightly lit day. A camera with a WDR is able to use shadowing detail on the dark areas as well as handle the brighter objects.
