You can even use the FacePLATE PowerZoom as a standalone ANPR camera without an NVR. Standalone it can capture, store and compare car number plates to trigger actions such as opening a gate via its alarm output or a more complex event triggered using its event push server.

FacePLATE can also capture, store and compare faces so you can use it to automatically identify staff, customers, shoplifters or whoever you need. As with its ANPR function, you create and name your own list that the camera will match its recognitions too, you simply set the action you want on a number plate or face ID match.

Please note the facePLATE can not do ANPR and Facial recognition at the same time, you need to configure it to the function you want it to do.

By adding the ZIP NVR to the facePLATE you get a massive boost of AI processing power from the NVR meaning performance, features and usability are greatly enhanced so we always recommend using it with the ZIP NVR.
