The alienWebcam is a very useful software module that allows you to capture snapshot images from any of your camera channels and automatically upload them to a web server for display on your company website.
How does it work?
alienWebcam connects to alienDVRs, takes snapshot images and then saves them on a PC or on to a website URL. This means companies can use the alienDVR to provide webcam pics or even provide timed photo snapshots.
alienWebcam also has a timelapse feature which records snapshots at different times of the day and saves them locally to create a high speed video of a specified time period - often seen on TV to depict flowers blooming or seasons changing.
