This CCT670 Portable Microscope Camera with 100x approximate magnification is suitable for inspection of skin, hair, jewellery, insects, fibres and dust particles etc.

To use the camera you simply put it up close to the area you want to read, the image is then displayed on the connected monitor or TV. The unit provides white light from 6 internal LEDs to aid illumination when its close up to the object.

By using a video capture card you could connect it to a computer.

With its small size and hand held operation it's an ideal reading aid for anyone with visual disabilities. You can connect the camera to the video input of a standard TV to display the small print of a book or newspaper.

The internal 1/3" CMOS camera is powered by a 12v DC supply at 100mA so is an ideal candidate for using as a completely portable unit using our BAT500 battery kit and a portable monitor.
