Advanced technology and processing power is combined with crystal clear HD images in this CCTV system kit. For the camera section of the kit, 16 Xvision PRO-HD 4 MP H265 IP dome cameras are provided. These cameras outperform both analogue and less advanced digital alternatives by a huge margin. The PRO-HDs capture images at 12x the detail of analogue cameras and offer a clear improvement on previous, lower resolution, digital technology. The 4MP Pro Digital Imaging Sensors with DSP perform exceptionally well in conjunction with the other high specification components in delivering a crisp, accurate and vivid picture.
One of the standout hardware features of the cameras is the 2.8 to 12mm lenses which give the user flexible viewing angles between 23 and 92°. An Auto Iris function ensures images captured at any angle retain their clarity, even in difficult lighting conditions. Another light management feature is the 30m IR night vision with Smart IR technology. This night vision mode actively controls IR lighting intensity in order to extract images with a level of detail sufficient to serve security purposes, even in the darkest conditions.
A fantastic innovation, particular to these cameras, is the number plate recognition function. This function utilises the Smart IR feature, in combination with WDR and a Manual Shutter Control, to enable clear number plate recognition in day or night-time conditions. Along with the Smart Video Analytics, with perimeter breach detection and abandoned object identification, these features create a complete, holistic CCTV security solution, with exceptional monitoring capabilities.
The cameras are robust and sturdy, with each one being surrounded by strong, vandal resistant metal housing finished in white. In addition to being vandal resistant, the physical design is also tamper resistant, with no exposed cables or lenses. The durability of these cameras is even further enhanced by the fact that they are weather resistant to an IP66 rating, making them suitable for outdoor use if required.
With the 16 cameras is a superb Xvision PRO-HD NVR to connect them to. This NVR has an incredible maximum 4K recording resolution of 3840x2160. In addition to the economical futureproofing the 4K capabilities provide, it receives and relays the Full HD images from the included cameras perfectly. Recordings and streams can be viewed without any difficulty using the simple web viewing and playback program (compatible with mainstream internet browsers). Alternatively, full control and configuration can be found in the free Windows and OSX CMS software included with the unit (which also features LAN and Internet backup options). Dropbox compatibility delivers a further useful recording feature, allowing for off-site cloud based recording of motion activated events.
Installation and setup is as easy as can be with this system kit, with the NVR having been designed for simple Plug and Play connection and camera configuration. Whether you have a VGA monitor or a Full HD 1080P monitor with HDMI, it can be easily connected to the NVR using the monitor outputs for either (with simultaneous connection of both if required). Pre-installed hard drives are available at up to a 12TB recording capacity. These drives are expertly made with 24/7 CCTV recording in mind, providing superior power, economy and longevity, with less heat and vibration than equivalent desktop hard drives. To top it all off, in addition to the web based backup options, the NVR has hardware support for USB backup, making for a quick and easy backup procedure.
