These cameras can achieve image quality at nearly twice 1080P resolution and render blurry images provided by analogue CCTV cameras obsolete. In fact, they offer over 12x more visible detail and, therefore, far more reliable security images. The 4MP Digital Imaging Sensors and DSP in these bullet cameras provide exceptional clarity and their 3.6mm lenses allow for a 78° viewing angle, ensuring nothing is missed in each camera’s field of view.
If you require night-time CCTV surveillance for unlit or dimly lit areas, the bullet cameras included will provide excellent night-time images by drawing on the 20m IR night vision feature with Smart IR technology. The Smart IR technology adjusts lighting intensity to extract the best picture possible from dark areas and light areas alike, even when in close proximity to the IR leds.
True Day/Night (ICR) and Digital Slow Shutter functions ensure that light sensitivity (at 0.0003 lux) and colour reproduction accuracy is very high (even in the absence of IR leds). The cameras also have many customisable controls available, such as Smart Video Analytics, which can perform identification functions in relation to missing object detection and zonal or perimeter breaches. Another useful, customisable feature is privacy masking, which allows filming in places which include areas where privacy is required.
The camera hardware is securely encased in high quality metal housing, with a tamper resistant design where cables and lenses are out of sight and reach. Finished in a white coating and with a weather resistant to IP66 rating, the cameras can safely be used outdoors, as well as indoors (or a combination of both).
Connecting the 16 bullet cameras to a recording device couldn’t be simpler with the Xvision Pro-HD NVR provided in this system kit, which sports a maximum recording resolution of 4K (3840x2160).
Great care has been taken in order to ensure that this NVR’s design makes it easy to install and maintain. A combination of a front panel keypad and USB mouse enables simple local control, whilst the outputs for VGA and HDMI monitors provides a choice of viewing options. The NVR comes ready to use and immediate, user-friendly control and customisation comes, out of the box, courtesy of free Windows and OSX CMS software. If you require a remote backup option, then the software can be used to backup over LAN or Internet; alternatively, if you prefer to backup locally via a USB storage device, then the built-in USB port provides that option too.
As well as exploiting its broad compatibility, with connection to tools such as Dropbox (for remote recording of motion activated events), the NVR makes good use of its own professionally calibrated hardware. With storage options from 1TB to 12TB, the pre-installed hard drive perfectly manages the balancing act between the economical use of power and 24/7 CCTV recording. Less noisy than desktop variants, the hard drive also contains higher quality components than such alternatives. It is not only the hard drive which is highly efficient in this NVR, but also the H265 video compression, which halves the bandwidth and storage space used by H264 NVRs whilst providing identical performance. Multi stream technology is also harnessed in order to add further economy to hard drive storage and bandwidth consumption. Through these technologies, along with Smart Network Detection network stability monitoring, this particular NVR matches its impressive resolution capabilities with efficiency and sustainability.
